Charles Hamilton, Pastor —
Charles E. Hamilton was born to Charles and Shirley Hamilton on December 29, 1978 in Hollandale, MS. At the age of 1 years old, his father left his mother alone to raise two boys as a single mother.

By the age of 16, Charles joined a gang and began to sell drugs, but because of his athletic abilities he continued to attend school regularly.

As a junior in high school, he had many major colleges and professional baseball teams scouting him. On June 3, 1998, Charles was drafted by the Kansas City Royals as a pitcher in the 17th round and became the first person in Hollandale, MS history to play professional baseball.

While playing for the Royals, he was voted one of the most elite players in their organization for his ability to pitch from 89mph-96mph. In 2000, Charles was released from the Kansas City Royals due to his outraged behavior against the team’s rules and regulations.

Shortly after his release from the Royals, in March 2002, he was sentenced to 3 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections on charges for selling drugs. Only being in jail for 16 days, a man by the name of Robert Washington came to the Greenville County Jail, and told Charles how he could get saved, so on March 17, 2002, Charles gladly received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour.

Seven months after his conversion, God showed Charles in Ephesians 4:11 and Titus 1:3, that He wanted Charles to become a pastor and he surrendered to the high calling of God. While still in prison, God used the Rock of Ages Prison Ministry to influence Charles, and it caused him to believe in the fundamentals of the faith.

Charles started King James Bible Baptist Church April 28, 2013, in Greenville MS where he was sent out by Crossroads Baptist Church in Memphis, TN, Pastored by Pastor Clenton Patterson.
