Our Pastor was in prayer for 4 years that God would send someone to the Mississippi Delta to start an Independent Fundamental Bible Believing Baptist Church.  Then in May of 2009, God showed our Pastor from Nehemiah 2:6 that it pleased the king to send him back to the Mississippi Delta to reach his people. Our Pastor’s heartbeat is to start many Independent, Fundamental, Soul-winning, Baptist Churches throughout the state of Mississippi.

We started King James Bible Baptist Church on April 28, 2013 in a storefront building. We were there for 20 months when the Lord blessed us with a beautiful 12 year old church building, on 5 acres of land, located in the best area in Greenville! This church had been vacant for 3 to 4 years! With no money of our own, our church was in constant prayer and fasted for God to move in a miraculous way. In Gods perfect timing, the Jehovah Jireh Ministry gave us a 60,000 dollar deposit for the building; for which we did not, at that time, even qualify for. God is good! This church, which was initially for sale only, is now being financed to us by The Lutheran Missouri Synod!
